Pre-School (3-5 years)

This set comes with 20 miniature leaves. They are the perfect addition to a Fall themed Sensory Bin. The leaves are less than 1" and come in five different colors. There are 4 of each color: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Brown.

I created these cards when I was transitioning into single motherhood. Dinner time used to be my favorite family-connection time. But, as a single parent, it became too hard for me to do dinners in this new dynamic. It was filled with grief and big feelings. The physical demands of the witching hour and getting dinner ready simultaneously felt hard. It was easy for me to let my kiddos eat wherever, whenever, even in front of the tv 📺 (Which is something I vowed NEVER to do!) I was feeling disconnected from my family and myself. I knew I needed to do something to RECLAIM our connection but I wasn’t sure how.

My youngest is keen on anything that goes. Things that move and roll really captivate his attention. Seeing how much he has enjoyed them, I wanted to add this set of Counting Marbles to the Count With Me series for other movers and shakers to enjoy.  This set is a great addition to any rainbow sensory bin. Pair these wee marbles with the Color Sorting Bowls and you have the perfect color sorting task. Use tongs, fingers, or even chopsticks to transfer these roly poly spheres to their matching color counterpart to help build dexterity, fine motor skills, and patience.

These little cuties are the same size as the balls in the Colored Cups and Balls Play Set so, if you are looking for replacement pieces, or if you just want some extras, these fit perfectly!

Each ball measures approximately ¾” in diameter. They are little.
Each set comes with 18; 3 of each red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. They have been painted using a nontoxic, soy based paint and sealed with beeswax and jojoba oil. They come packaged in an organza pouch for easy storage and visibility.

When I was trying to come up with a way to identify important things in her life, and put words to them, I looked to our Make a Match series for inspiration – and Label was born.

Each little tin comes with 12 word tiles, written in Montessori font to aid in letter writing and reading readiness.

Each set comes with:
12 wooden coins 1.5” in diameter
A little metal tin.

*They do not come with the pictures. This is intended to be an ADD ON to the Make a Match Memory Games. Currently Label is available to correspond with our most popular sets.

When you have Label + Make a Match Game you can use these 12 “labels” at a learning center to match the word to its corresponding picture; making a visual of both the word/symbol pair. More advanced players will enjoy playing the classic concentration game; but, instead of having double pairs of pictures, switch out a set for the Label words and help your little librarian strengthen word recognition and reading readiness.

Look what arrived in time for your little Valentine! This simple, made with love, set is sure to please your little love this Season. Sort the hearts, put them in size or rainbow order, or simply leave them as “love notes” around the house to be gathered up, collected, and treasure-kept.

These hearts range in size from 3” tall to 1.25” tall and are each about .25” thick. The tops have been painted with a soy based wash and coated with an all natural beeswax to keeps the colors bright and the wood moisturized. The bottoms are left in their natural state so you can sort by size using the colors or the raw wood grain for older explorers.

This set comes packaged in a chipwood, heart-shaped, trinket box – perfect for a Seasonal Table or Valentine Sensory Bin.

*Note: This toy is not intended for children who still mouth things. The smallest heart measure1.25 inch in diameter. I use this as a “monitored” or “guided” toy with my little one. As with any toy, children should be supervised while at play. *X
